Sunday 23rd Feb. All ok in Dingboche..

Hi all. Sorry for no updates. Wifi has been non existent the last few days.

Firstly, we are all ok at Dingboche 4,400mts. Some of the team have restled minor headaches and upset tummies, but all have come through today and are going well.

Courtney is now charging ahead. The only thing that stops her is puppies. COURTNEY LOVES PUPPIES..!!!

Bill is battling a few headaches but is hanging in there thus far.

Greg had a huge stomach issue yesterday but is stronger today.

All the remainder off the team are well at this stage, but they are all complaining of the constant ups..!!! (Yes, there are some complainers amongst the team..lol)

Tomorrow we climb to 5000mts, so this will test one or two of them. I will be monitoring them closely and will turn them away If there is any serious symptoms.

Today was our first really clear day. We spent the day acclimatising climbing to a village at 4,800mts. They ALL climbed well. Have just returned and have found some very slow and expensive wifi.

I'm hoping to be able to update and read your responses tomorrow night at Loboche 4,900mts. If I can't get a connection, then please don't panic. I will be able to do so the following day at Gorak Shep.

Thanks Brian for posting pdate.

Yay! Yay! Yay! So excited to here from you David. Amazing and awe inspiring leadership from you to get everyone this far given the rough start and the tummy bug and headaches (and puppy distractions!). I'm so glad Courtney is ok and happy. I hope her next challenge is fleas and mange . . .

Keep up the great work everyone. We are all thinking positive and light-legged thoughts for you. xoxo

Just caught up on your adventures so far. Sounds exciting! I hope Greg's stomach issue has cleared.... :-(. Couldn't imagine anything worse for him or anyone else on the trip to try and deal with.
Tell Greg everything is still in one piece here. I am missing him though!
Hope you all continue to have a great time and the weather continues to improve. Looking forward to reading more in the days to come!

Another relaxing rest day coming up? And a stroll to 5000m at Dughla, I hope everyone is ready for more "ups".
You guys have done well and the prize is just around the corner.
Hang in, it really is worth everything that you put in to it!!

I love you courty. Why are you still up a big huge mountain? Can I come and see you? And we can read a story about a mountain. xoxo

A clear day changes everything. The views AND the altitude must take your breath away. Thanks so much for the updates, David. It's great to know you are all together and so much closer to completing the climb. Hope you all touch the sky very soon. What an amazing pic that will be.

Hey Sue,
Just called around to Williams Pde and the boys are all doing it hard,
They started with a dozen Oysters Kilpatrick for starters! EACH !!!
And i believe its Roast Lamb Tuesday night. Its Huge! James will be eating Lamb Sandwiches until he gets back to work. I think he is thinking of making a few sandwiches to go on the train and plane. Do they have Toastie Machines in First Class flights theses days? Hope he's not sharing a seat with a KIwi.
I also asked the Boys what they would like on Monday nite for Dinner, Can you Guess.........One for Macca's and one for Chinese.

Hey DG,
Did you ask Louise if you could take her Gloves this time?
or are they really yours? I think the gloves hide the nail polish!

Enjoy the trek

Talk Soon
