We have been without connectivity for almost 3 days..!! Cloud and snow has meant the wifi and carrier towers have been down due no sun to power their solar batteries.

We have just arrived to Ghorak Shep. Lots of cloud and snow, but some welcome moments of sun too.

Some of the team have struggled with altitude. Krystal has had some tough nights, but has made it to GS. We thought we would have had to turn her back a few times, but after some monitoring and observations, (and some team caring) she has made it to this point.  Vidia has had her moments as well, but she too has soldiered on and is going well right now. Jenny turned back to Namche from Dingboche, as part of her original plan. We will meet up with her in a few days.

Weather has been frustrating!! We often get great views in the morning, only to see cloud and snow come in late morning and cover the mountains. We are hoping for a good morning tomorrow for our KP day. It's going to be 50/50. Snowing outside as I write.

Sorry for lack of updates. Will post a full update from Namche in a few days.

Hi Janine. Anand is snoozing around the fire right now. It's a pleasant 10 degrees inside the lodge room, but around minus 5 outside..!! The bedrooms are around minus 2. It will drop to around minus 12 tonight..! This is the toughest night of the trip. Anand is trekking well and sticking to his own comfortable pace.

Good luck on you push to KP today. I hope you achieve that goal and have a safe journey back to Lukla. Any sign of the infamous Nima, Dave?
