The 2018 EBC team have now departed. All were in good spirits today when I went out to see them off, and I can confirm that there is already some cheeky banter going back and forward between them..! Many of you will guess who is the instigator..!
As with all of Sue's Nepal treks, there is always at least one poor individual who unintentionally becomes a target of her torment. Now, I shouldn't mention names at this stage, but the tall bloke in the hat is likely to be in for a tough trip..!!! He has already made the terrible error of sharing with the team that he had forgotten to pack jocks for his overnight stay in Bangkok tonight and had to make a detour on the way to the airport to get some. At least two previous trek members (no names) will confirm that the word "jocks" should never be mentioned in front of Sue. Good luck "tall bloke in the hat"...!!
