We witnessed about three cremations taking place at different stages. One even had the former Prime Minister turn up under heavy security. We are thinking he was there for a mountaineering pioneer Elizabeth Hawley who passed away recently. Local papers where saying she was being cremated today.
A packing frenzy tonight with Evan and Elaine successfully getting their bags under 10kg....ok, where’s he hiding the Everest. Everyone else not bad with a couple wearing an extra layer to keep it under 10kg.
An early start with a 4.30am wake up and leaving for the airport at 5am. I have purchased a SIM card with Data so should be able to keep you updated tomorrow morning. Crossing fingers we get out of Kathmandu Lukla bound.
