Sat 3rd Feb. Dinboche at 4,400mts.......

We got to Deboche last night and we had no power, no phone carrier and no WiFi. No power was due to the man in charge of the power is sick and in hospital. Headlamps out for the first time on the trek. Matt being an ex electrician was asked if he could look at their generator that wasn’t working it runs on diesel but apparently needed petrol just to get it going. No petrol was available.
We commenced our walk to Dingboche this morning for our second acclimatization day. I have no phone carrier and WiFi is quite expensive.
Not a T-shirt in sight today. Although the sun was out, we had strong wind which made it rather cool. Everyone is feeling really good at 4400 meters.
Tomorrow is our acclimatization walk up to Chukung. Still very dusty and we have been told there hasn’t been any flights between Lukla and Kathmandu for two days due to weather.

What a clever photo of Dingboche, Didi or is it a postcard? Pleased to hear/see that the team is all in good health and spirits.

The pictures are great, who was the trekker aiming at with the rock, she definitely had something in her sights.
I am at last in Dubai, and lacking heaps of sleep. You lot have been travelling. Well with no hiccups, and all the tummy bugs hopefully have left, all look happy and well, cheers spanner

All good spanna, it was a game of Shot Put. Needless to say our guide won.
