| We kind of got a sleep in this morning by not having to pack our room up. Today is our first acclimatization day. We started a little after 9am. It’s a steep climb out of Namche up to Everest View. The trail still covered in snow. Not even my favorite mountain Ama Dablam was in sight due to fog/cloud. We couldn’t even sit outside on the verandah to take in the view as it was covered in snow. After a hot chocolate we made our way back down to Khumjung, walked through the secondary school which was funded by Sir Edmund Hillary and made our way back down to Namche. A few last minute purchasers and now back at the lodge waiting for them to light the fire. |  Everest View Hotel  Everest “No” View Hotel |
