Fri 11th Sept. Almost time to "get serious"..!

We are only 3 weeks away from our first team training session at the 1000 Steps. It's going to be good to start working off those "winter layers". And I'm personally looking forward to hearing the rundown on Des & Paulene's latest European adventure.

Air ticket pricing is now starting to come through to me. My agent who sources our international airfares has done a good job in finding impressive Thai Airways fares. On the other hand, our Lukla fare has been hit hard by the Australian dollar..!! Such is the challenge of travelling to foreign lands.

Krystal has recently joined our team. Yes, our previous number of 10 was ideal, but having met her last week, I reckon she will fit well within the team. She's keen, enthusiastic and looking forward to meeting you on the 3rd.

Hi David, did a little low altitude training a couple of days ago, 1800 metres.

That doesn't surprise me Des. On your own, or with the girl as well?

We met a friend at Meribel, and did a walk with her. Should have stayed there for a few days some great walks up to about 2400 meters. And yes Paulene walked.

Hi there Dave. Only just noted that you're coming up for your 10th trip. Fair dinkum mate, it's time to write a book..!!
Team looks good. Take care.

Hi Dave. It will take more than getting his knee fixed for him to get approval to go...!!! Lol. Due for a catch-up?"

" It's going to be good to start working off those "winter layers".
Does this mean you are going to take off that puffy down vest that you are wearing under your T'shirt?
You are wearing a vest, aren't you?
