We completed our second last session at Buninyong this morning. Des and Paulene put us through our paces, climbing to the top of Mt Buninyong and then completing several ups and downs on the fire tower at the top. Several of the team completed 10 laps of the tower. This team's prep has been very good.
We then had an excellent dinner at Des and Paulene's house. Great afternoon.
Thanks Des and Paulene.
Other news to report.
Sue, Blair and David have completed their ascent of Island Peak. Reports are coming back on how exhilarating this trip has been, although feedback tonight is that they are all very fatigued and dehydrated. They will be back in Lukla tomorrow night.
Nepal continues to "rattle and roll". There has been over 400 aftershocks since the April 2015 earthquakes. Earlier today, Kathmandu experienced a 5.2 shake. At this stage, very little damage reported and only a handful injured. Sue text'd back she felt nothing, nor did my guide Mingma at Lukla. Awaiting a response from my contacts in Kat.
