Most of the 2019 team (and a few guests) at the start of the classic Razorback hike.
It's been a while since we last posted an update, and much has happened..!
The 2019 EBC trek departure is now fast approaching. Unfortunately, the team will be departing without Rod and Matt, who had to pull out. Sad, but it happens.
The remainder of the team (Gary, Josh, Tess, Tahlia, Rhonda, Lauren, and of course Sue) are moving into some final prep. Only 40 days til departure...!!!
Last weekend, we completed our annual Razorback hike, and as before, we draw a lucky straw with weather. Warm and sunny on the hike day, thunderstorms and heavy rain the next day..! Accommodation at Dinner Plain never disappoints, and the weekend was no exception. Capped by a great meal at the local pub after the tough hike. Most agreed that the Razorback can often (and harshly) remind you what your level of fitness is, and what work you may need to do in the final month and a bit before you take your first few steps on the mighty EBC trek.
This Friday, Sue will be completing Nepalese entry visa's for the team. We will then try to fit in one more group training session before the teams departure on the 21st Jan.
